“We continuously strive to make the stay for our patients safer and more comfortable, while also aiming to relieve our nursing staff. Therefore, we have introduced the patient mobility monitoring system on a trial basis to intervene early,” says Chief Physician Dr. T. Stein. “The new system complements our existing fall prevention measures, such as low-floor beds and night lights. It provides security without the need for any restrictions,” Dr. Stein expresses satisfaction.
To better protect patients at the BDH Clinic Greifswald and prevent falls, the clinic is currently testing the QUMEA Care system.
“Already in the first tests, it has been shown that there is a very high level of acceptance from the nursing staff. It is worth noting as a special feature that this system operates entirely anonymously and contactlessly,” says Dr. Stein. After the testing phase, a decision will be made on whether it will be fully integrated into the clinic’s daily routine.
